Membership Classification
There are two membership categories for participation in the APE Research Council:
Full membership in the Council is open to those engaged in the production of alkylphenols and alkylphenol derivatives in Canada, the United States, or Mexico ("North America") or the production of alkylphenols and alkylphenol derivatives outside of North America and imported into North America.
Associate membership in the APE Research Council is open to those engaged in the production or importation of alkylphenols and alkylphenol derivatives in all other countries or those engaged in the supply of raw materials, or formulation or use of alkylphenols and alkylphenol derivatives, in North America or elsewhere.
Membership Dues
The dues formula for a producer is based on the share of a member company's combined North American alkylphenols and alkylphenol derivatives production.
Dues for companies that process, use or distribute alkylphenols or alkylphenol derivatives is $10,000/year.
Dues for companies that supply chemicals to the alkylphenols industry such as phenol or olefins is $20,000/year.
Dues for companies that produce, formulate or use alkylphenols and alkylphenol derivatives outside of North America and do not import into North America is $10,000/year.
