Analytical Methods

The American Society for Testing Methods (ASTM) recently finalized an analytical method for the determination of nonylphenol, p-tert-Octylphenol, Nonylphenol Monoethoxylate and Nonylphenol Diethoxylate in environmental waters. The method, which is designated D 7065-06 is based on gas chromatography with mass spectrometry detection. To order copies of the method go to ASTM’s website (www.astm.org).
